Support to continue my studies and stay in Canada

Everything I want to say is coming from the bottom of my heart and it's the result of years of effort that I reach a place and see that I haven't accomplished enough and I can't continue this life anymore. My name is Mohsen I'm 23 years old and have been forced to emigrate from my country, Iran, since the age of 18 and have lived in Turkey for several years. I have worked professionally as a jib operator in Turkey and have been editing films for over 6 years. In the past few years, I've had the honor of filming two famous Turkish singers, Muazzez Ersoy and Baha. After years of trying to live in Turkey and learn a new language, I tried to leave because of the insecurity and harassment.

My family in Iran had a small house, actually our life savings after living in Iran for 40 years, which they had to sell because of me to save just one person from the hole we were stuck in. and pay for my visa to study in Canada. After waiting two years for a visa to study in Canada and being rejected twice, my visa was approved for the third time and the path I had been waiting for finally opened up.

During these two years, inflation meant that the toman, which is Iran's currency, became worthless because of the Islamic Republic, and during the recent women's protests for freedom and Mahsa Amini's movement, the situation in Iran worsened by the day, and the value of our house decreased by the day. After months of trying to sell, the house was finally sold at a huge loss and at the lowest price on the real estate market, which only covered the cost of living in Canada for less than six months!

In December 2022 I moved to Canada and lived in Quebec for three months and was forced to work in a factory that made my mood worse and worse.

I have no money for the next few semesters and after two months I haven't managed to find a job here yet either. Today, after six years of dreaming of living in Vancouver, I've finally arrived at the best university there is, BCIT, in the field of video production and editing, which I've always loved, but today my life is the unhappiest! I have no money for the next few semesters, and because of the recent things that happened this year, I'm in a bad state of mind and need to visit a therapist, but unfortunately can't afford the high cost of treatment.

My dorm room is an hour from the college and since I don't have a computer and my film projects all require a powerful computer, I have to make that trip every day and I have to stay at the college from morning to night but these days because my classes are over. and I still haven't registered for the next semester, I no longer have access to the computer rooms and I can't do any freelance projects, which is the hardest days of my life.

If I can't pay my college tuition in a few weeks, my student visa will have problems and I may have to leave Canada, And if I go back to Iran, I'll go straight to prison because of the films I've made in support of my country's women, human rights and Mahsa Amini's movement. If you can help me or make any suggestions, I'd be most appreciative.

سلام دوستان، هر حرفی که می خواهم بزنم از ته دلم خواهد بود و نتیجه سال ها تلاشی که به یک جایی می رسی و می بینی کم آوردی و نمی توانی ادمه بدهی!

من ۲۳ سالم و از ۱۸ سالگی مجبور به مهاجرت از سرزمینم ایران شدم و چندین سال سخت در ترکیه زندگی کردم، من به طور حرفه ای به عنوان jib operator در ترکیه کار کردم و بیشتر از ۶ سال است که تدوین فیلم انجام میدم، در طی این سال ها افتخار فیلمبرداری از دو خواننده مشهور ترکی به نام Muazzez Ersoy and Baha را داشته ام که از من دعوت به این کار شد، در سال ۲۰۲۱ چنل یوتیوبم را ساخته ام و با دانشجویان ایرانی سراسر دنیا صحبت کردم تا قدمی بردارم برای کسانی که قصد مهاجرت دارند، بعد از سال ها تلاش و زندگی ساختن در ترکیه و یاد گرفتن زبان جدید به خاطر شرایط نا امن بودن و استسمار ها در تلاش بودم که از آنجا خارج شوم،

خانواده ام یک زمینی در ایران داشتند در واقع تمام سرمایه زندگی ما بعد از ۴۰ سال زندگی در ایران بود که برای من فروختند که فقط یک نفر را از این چاله ای که در آن گیر کرده بودیم نجات دهند و خرج گرفتن ویزای تحصیلی من در کانادا بکنند، بعد از دو سال منتظر بودن برای ویزای تحصیلی کانادا و دو بار ریجکت شدن سومین بار ویزای من اکسپت شد و بالاخره راهی که منتظرش بودم باز شد، ولی

در طی این دو سال تورم باعث شد که ارز تومان که واحد پول ایران است به خاطر جمهوری اسلامی هر روز بی ارزش تر شود و در طی تظاهرات اخیر زن زندگی آزادی و جنبش مهسا امینی روز به روز وضعیت ایران بدتر شد و ارزش سرمایه خانه ما هم کمتر و کمتر، بعد از ماه ها تلاش برای فروش زمین بالاخره با کلی ضرر و قیمت پایین، زمین به فروش رسید ولی فقط هزینه ۶ ماه زندگی من در کانادا را کاور می کرد!

من سه ماه در کبک زندگی کردم و مجبور به کار در کارخانه ای شدم که حال روحیم را هر روز بدتر و بدتر می کرد، امروز بعد از شش سال آرزوی داشتن زندگی در ونکوور، بالاخره رسیده ام به ونکوور در بهترین دانشگاه اینجا به نام BCIT در رشته Video production and editing که همیشه عشق آنرا داشته ام مشغول تحصبل هستم اما امروز غمگین ترین زندگی را دارم!

من دیگه هیچ پولی برای ترم های بعد ندارم و به خاطر اتفاقات اخیر این ق ر شرایط روحی بدی دارم که نیاز با ترتپیست دارم که متاسفانه هزینه هر جلسه آن هم بسیار برای من زیاد است

اتاق دانشجویی من یک ساعت با کالج من فاصله دارد و من چون کامپیوتر ندارم و پروژه های فیلم من همه نیاز به کامپیوتری قوی دارند باید هر روز این مسیر را طی کنم و از صبح تا شب مجبورم در کالج بمانم اما این روز ها چون کلاس هایم تمام شده و هنوز برای ترم بعد ثبت نام نکردم دیگر دسترسی به اتاق های کامپیوتر را هم ندارم و هیچ پروژه ای نمی توانم انجام دهم که سخت ترین روز ها را دارم تجربه می کنم.

اگر تا چند هفته دیگر نتوانم پول ترمم را پرداخت کنم، ویزای تحصیلی ام به مشکل می خورد و شاید مجبور به رفتن از خاک کانادا شوم، و اگر هم بر گردم ایران مستقیم به زندان خواهم رفت به خاطر فیلم هایی که برای حمایت از مردم و جنبش مهسا امینی و زن زندگی آزادی ساخته ام.
