Yosemite for Women Cancer Survivors

       Thank you for finding Yosemite Retreats for Women Conquering Cancer!  And thank you for reading my story. 
       In 2011, I was diagnosed with cancer.  The news was devastating but like most patients you find the courage to carry on.  I went through the usual treatment: surgery, chemo, radiation, and many years of cancer "preventing" drugs.  It was a very difficult journey but the story ends well. 
       In late 2012, several months after my active treatment ended, I began another life-changing journey~I began planning retreats for women with cancer!  Every year, and sometimes twice a year, I take women to Yosemite for a few days of fun and support.  These retreats are life-changing for most of us but most-of-all, me.  There is something magical about being in Yosemite with a dozen women that have had the same experience as you.  The bonding is wonderful, the food delicious, the lodging excellent, the sight-seeing amazing, and the joy is immeasurable!  And this joy is lasting!
       Our motto is "We're finding hope together!" and each retreat provides hope for all the women that are lucky enough to join us.                  This May we'll travel to Yosemite for our 8th retreat!  Many of the women that attend are unable to work or are retired on a fixed income~thus the Gofundme page.  I'm raising money so that all women can attend!  I offer total or partial scholarships.  Yosemite is gorgeous but it's not cheap!  Won't you support these rare and amazing experiences for these ladies?
