Connolly Family & Mark's Funeral

It is during times like these when the love and support of family, friends and even those whom we don't know -- mean the most. My name is Donald Connolly, and this GoFundMe page has been created on behalf of our family:  my mother Cathy, sister Christine, and 9 year old nephew, Brayden. It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the sudden loss of Mark Morse, who was the dedicated and loving partner to my mother, for over 16 years.

Mark held a very important role in our lives and he will be greatly missed. He was an exceptional person: an all-around free spirit, a highly intelligent man with a vast variety of skills and interests, to include carpentry, electric work, landscaping, culinary arts, to name a few.  He was pretty much a jack of all trades who never hesitated to help strangers and those in his family. He was a partner, friend, mentor and grandfather and was loved by us all. His absence looms great, as we reminisce on his role in our lives, with our heavy hearts. In particular, he shared a strong and unbreakable bond with his grandson Brayden, whom he raised and loved as his own son. They were the very best of friends.

Mark unexpectedly passed away on August 30, 2017. In addition to the outpouring of well-wishes and prayers, we are reaching out for some assistance, in order to get things on track, replace the gaps in family income as a result of the loss, and help in procuring his funeral arrangements. We've always been a strong family, never hesitant to help anyone else in need. This is a time of critical need for us, hence, our decision to reach out for assistance. 

Any contribution, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated by all of us. We hope to get through this difficult time and get the bills paid, and honor Mark with some minimal services, per his expressed wishes. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
