Connery's Medical Bills
Donation protected
I adopted my pet Connery a year and a half ago from the SPCA. He was an mature cat and not many people are willing to adopt at that age, but when I first saw him I knew he was perfect for me. Unfortunately, I have recently sent him to the vet in an emergency. His urinary tract became blocked and he required a catheter to relieve himself. In the past several days, he has been in three veterinary hospitals and has had two procedures. He is on countless medications right now.
I have been visiting him every day to give him all the love he's missing out on at home, but I have no idea when my little buddy will be able to come home. I have given the vet clinic the go ahead on a surgery that shortens and widens his urethra to prevent the same issue from happening.
I have spent far more money than I could ever have imagined I want nothing more than to have my cat healthy and at home. So far, I have spent about $4000 on veterinary bills including medication, hospitalization, and all of the emergency consultation costs and procedures. I live off of a single income, and I have spent what little savings I have on Connery.
