My name is Emil Daubon. I am a US Army Veteran, and a Senior at Columbia University studying Drama and Theatre Arts. I am the writer and director of a short film entitled "Conflicted", a story about a young boy growing up in a home rife with bigotry. This film focuses on the tense relationship between an 11 year old and his father who is trying to indoctrinate him into his world view. The story explores one particular event in the life of this relationship in which the father attempts to expose this boy to a world of hate. Where his father sees fear and prejudice, all this boy sees is goodness and beauty. We are in pre-production at this time, and have a fantastic crew on board. We are very excited to bring this story to life, and need help! Every bit helps, and we are hopeful that we can raise enough to make this film properly.
