Conexiones 2K18

Conexiones is a trip of high school students from Vidalia, Ferriday High School, and for the first year ever Concorida Parish Academy who are excited to explore the culture of Costa Rica while practicing their Spanish in a foreign country.  The trip has expanded this year to include a new school and 15 students, the most ever! The money that is raised will assist in buying plane tickets, hotels, and excursions for students to explore the rich culture and landscape that awaits them in Costa Rica. The trip will be in May, 2018, and funding is needed by late March. The students are working hard to raise their fair share, and it would be wonderful for the community to help in the efforts.

This will be a trip of firsts for many students. Last year, students flew a plane, swam in the pacific ocean, rode horses and ziplines, and hiked on the side of a volcano.  Many students were brought out of their comfort zones in ways they didn't know was possible, and still had a fantastic time!  This year your donations will allow other students to experience new adventures.
