Concerteenies NEW musical stories

Concerteenies is thrilled to have received an Arts Council England 'Small Projects Grant' to commission 5 new pieces of music, based on story books for 3-5 year olds. The pieces, created by award-winning composer Paul Rissmann, are written for solo instrumentalists and narrator, Polly Ives. We will pilot them in April 2021 in 10 nurseries in South East Sheffield (in partnership with SSELP). They will be available online for children and their families at Sheffield Children's Hospital, to schools via Sheffield Music Hub and to the general public. We will create school and home learning resources with cross-curricular activities.
We have lots of ambitious plans for future of the performances (in cultural venues, pubs, music festivals, schools and nurseries in Sheffield and further afield, as well as TV and recording potential) - watch this space for more info.
But... we need to raise enough match funding to make the project happen so we really NEED YOUR HELP!
