Computers for Earthquake Damaged Nepalese School
Donation protected
I was fortunate enough to work as volunteer in Nepal through Engineers Without Borders (Australia) from 2010 to 2011. During my time in Nepal I worked with some wonderful NGO's doing great work in rural Nepal. One such NGO, they being Fair Action Nepal are currently fundraising to assist a school rebuild in the village of Sindhukot.
The 2015 earthwork which struck Nepal killed almost 9000 people and caused significant damage to cities and villages, including that of Sindhukot school (north east of Kathmandu) with its 200 students.
The school is gradually being rebuilt, and as part of this rebuild we are hoping to raise $1200 (AUD) to purchase 4 computers for the school to assist the students with their studies. If we are able to raise more than $1200 then this will go towards the purchase of text books for the library.
