Compton Students Trip to Dubai

My name is Saleh Ali, I teach the core subjects at Barack Obama Charter School in Compton, CA.
From 2011-2015 I taught in Abu Dhabi, UAE. For the past 3 years, I have been showing my students in Compton my travel photos and videos and they have been absolutely fascinated by the idea of seeing a different part of the world.
I had always joked with my students and told them I would take them on a field trip to Africa or I would take them to Abu Dhabi. This year, it's not a joke. I will take a group of 4 students on a LIFE CHANGING trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi!
This field trip is going to
-expose students to different cultures and show them that the world is much bigger and different than their neighborhoods in Compton
-inspire the young scholars to think and dream big - Dubai is a city that rose from the empty desert and is now home to the world's tallest building, the biggest shopping mall, the Palm Island and a number of other courageous creations
-give students a vivid image of where a great education could take them - anywhere in the world.
This is where I need your help. The trip is estimated to cost $6,000. The sooner we hit the target, the sooner we can select the students, get them passports and book! Please, do not think any amount is too small. If we have to inch our way to this goal, we will do it.
