Competition in japan

The Prokick Gym, Belfast are planning a once in a life time trip for three of the gym’s teenagers to Japan. The team will travel across Japan experiencing top class training, with their week long trip climaxing by taking part in an official K-1 international kickboxing tournament in Osaka.

One of the lucky Prokick gym members chosen to attend this tournament is 17 year-old Miss Grace Goody from Lisburn.
Grace has been training at the ProKick Gym for ten years and has travelled to compete in Switzerland, Malta, all over the UK and Ireland. Grace is already Irish kickboxing champion, with the potential to achieve more great success within the sport. Grace will be representing Northern Ireland on the Global Stage while in Japan

As an amateur fighter there is no financial or government assistance and it is up to our club, the competitors, friends and family to raise the necessary funds to enable Myself to take part and compete.
The cost of this 8 day trip is £2900.00. This is to pay for:
Return flights
Travel throughout Japan
Competition training in multiple gyms in Tokyo, Nagoya, Kumamoto and competing in Osaka.
Entrance fees to tournament
Official KI equipment

We would kindly ask if you would be willing to donate or sponsor Grace to help her participate in this trip. Any voluntary donation would be gratefully appreciated, as you become a vital part of making this trip for Grace possible.
