WE MAKE MEDICAL PPE MASKS: Compassion Sewing is a group of home-based sewing experts who are constructing medical Personal Protection Masks for several hospitals in northern California. (Sacramento, Sierra foothills and San Francisco). We are based in El Dorado County and have delivered 2000 masks of the beginning of May.
We have delivered masks to UCD, Shriners and Kaiser hospital, as well as local clinics, elderly-care workers, therapists and psychiatric evaluators for hospitals.  These masks are made of fabric, have pockets to insert paper surgical filters, and can can be sterilized and reused and worn over an N95 mask to extend the use of this scarce PPE.
The business I own, ArtiFact, Ink, is a design studio that has completely moved to manufacturing these masks to meet this emergency need.
The need is to purchase fabric, flexible wire to fit tightly above the nose, and to pay stipend to seamstresses who are out of work and desperate. All money given to our business will go to fund this project.
