Sempre gostei de animais e sempre fui abençoada nesse sentido de poder conviver e viver de perto com grandes e pequenos animais o que resultou neste enorme carinho que tenho por eles.
Há 5 anos atrás o meu esposo e eu decidimos trazer um weimaraner macho para casa, e foi a melhor decisão que tomámos.
Tudo corria bem até que aos 3 anos de idade o Ben (esse é o nome dele), foi diagnosticado com um carcinoma tubular do reto.
Depois de uma série de intervenções cirúrgicas e tratamentos caros, o Veterinário alertou-nos que a solução
só passaria pela eutanásia.
Inicialmente foi difícil e saberia que teria que ter o meu tempo de aceitação, mas esse dia nunca chegou.
Seguindo o conselho de uma Médica de Medicina Integrativa, testamos um método terapêutico mais natural,
que resultou na remissão total do cancro.
Passar por esta experiência criou em mim o desejo de conhecer mais,
entender mais e buscar mais conhecimento, e quem sabe um dia,
poder ajudar outros amantes de animais que enfrentem problemas de saúde com os seus animais de estimação .Consequentemente, candidatei-me ao Curso de Medicina Veterinária na Universidade Lusófona e fui aceite.
Este curso é bastante caro, com uma taxa de inscrição de 4995€, juntamente com uma mensalidade de 704.40€.
Isto está além da minha capacidade e não posso fazer o curso sem ajuda.
Gostaria de não estar nesta posição, mas estou confiante que com a sua ajuda,
posso alcançar o meu objetivo.

I have always loved animals and have been blessed in that I have been able to live close to large and small animals, which resulted in gaining an affection to all animals in general. Five years ago, my husband and I decided to bring home a maile Weimaraner. This was the best decision we ever made. Everything was going well until, at the age of 3, Ben, (that is his name), was diagnosed with tubular carcinoma of the rectum. After a number of surgical interventions and expensive treatments, the veterinary told us that his condition could not be healed and suggested euthanasia. Initially, it was difficult and I knew it would take time to accept this solution. That day never came, and I decided to look for other solutions.
On the advice of a veterinarian of integrative medicine, we tested a more natural therapeutic method, which resulted in total remission of the carcinoma cancer. Going through this experience created in me a desire to know more, understand more, seek more knowledge of, and, how knows, to one day be able to help other animal lovers who are facing health issues with their pets. Consequently, I applied to the Veterinary Medicine course at Lusófona University and was accepted.
This course is quite expensive with a registration fee of 4995€ along with a monthly tuition of 704.04€. This is beyond my ability and I cannot do it without help. I wish I was not at this position, but I am confident that with your help I can reach my goal.
