Community/Sanctuary Cats in Need

I am posting this for a good friend of mine, who has done so much for community cats, caregivers, and the TNR community. She is currently facing foreclosure of her home, which serves as a sanctuary for 20 cats pulled from colonies. Most have special needs and medical/behavioral issues which deemed them unadoptable and not suitable for colony living. Carla Jewell runs The Foundation for Homeless Cats, and for over a decade, has been the voice for abandoned, abused, neglected, and feral cats. She has been instrumental in implementing protections for cats at the Municipal and State level. Losing her home would result in not only the displacement of the 20 cats, but the ability for Carla to offer a home for special needs cats in the future. The TNR community would also suffer a great set-back. Between managing 14 colonies of 65 cats, the Phoenix Feral Friends Group, the non-profit Foundation for Homeless cats, and working full time to fund all of this herself, she's had about a $700.00 deficit the last 6 months. So, you can see why she has been unable to make her house payment: she gives her last dime, each month, to the cats, which always come first.
Because of recent financial set-backs, maintaining the Foundation, along with regular bills, became impossible. This has resulted in her not being able to maintain for the last 4 months, which resulted in the $4,200.00 deficit in mortgage payments. This financial issue has recently been resolved with a higher paying job, but this deficit remains. Let's help her out, as she is part of our TNR family. Please don't let her lose her home.
