Dear friends and family,
We need your help. Our brother, Eric Pepin, has been diagnosed with a rare and life threatening form of cancer called medullary thyroid cancer. The tumor grew undetected to a large size and has now invaded both his trachea and esophagus.
On Monday, Nov 28th he begins daily treatment of both radiation and chemotherapy. Sadly, his employer doesn't provide short or long term disability insurance. And what he needs most now is the opportunity to rest during his treatment to maintain strength and allow his treatment to succeed.
Eric is the primary wage-earner in what is an exceedingly loving and giving household. Eric and Kelly took our father in for 6-months while he lived out his final days under hospice care. They also provide a loving and caring full-time home for their brilliantly inquisitive 5-yr old granddaughter, Eva, and a frequent weekend retreat for their thoughtful and polite 9-yr old grandson, Levi.
