Comedy TV Pilot Fundraiser

Hi, This is Jazmine! Thanks for stopping by. I'm here with my co-writer Casey trying to raise money for our next project. A single-cam sitcom called Ava + Eli 4ever.

 

After writing and producing horror and comedy content, I am looking to get to the next level as a filmmaker. I've been driven to make good award-winning films on a shoestring budget. So I had to ask myself, what can I make if I have a bigger budget? That's why I'm here. To ask you to invest in me and watch me make something great!

 

Ava + Eli 4ever has the potential to be AMAZING! The script has already got into some prestigious competitions like the LA International Screenplay Awards and New York International Screenplay Awards and made it to the 2nd round (so far) of The Launch Pad Competition!

 

So whether you are a fan of the arts, comedy, TV, ghosts, or just a supporter of mine… Consider helping me fund this passion project!

 

AVA + ELI 4EVER: This comedic pilot has the tone and humor of "New Girl," "Broad City," and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend." It's about an aloof DJ who is haunted by the ghost of his clingy girlfriend, who believes they're meant to be together FOREVER, despite the fact that he was going to break up with her before she died.

 

I hope to make a fantastic pilot to submit to festivals and competitions, plus something visual to help me pitch the series around town. Maybe one day you'll be watching Ava + Eli 4ever on Hulu! But I have to start somewhere. I would love to shoot this and use it as a proof of concept.

 

WHAT YOUR MONEY BUYS: I'll assemble an incredible team that will dedicate their time and resources to this project. Every penny will go to production and post-production, like wardrobe, locations, transportation, props, food, editing, SFX, sound mix, and color. Then after post-production, the money will help go to festivals and competitions submissions. Finally, if I raise more than I'm asking, I will just put that money into another project! Nothing will go to waste.
