Come Together and help Jackson

On September 16th, a parent’s worst nightmare became reality when Jackson was brutally attacked by a dog.  He suffered multiple, deep facial wounds that required a total of 30 stitches, a week-long hospital stay, and plastic surgery.  Despite the great medical care that Jackson received, there are still some unanswered questions about his future including whether he has long-term nerve damage and if he will need more plastic surgery.  To get the best care for Jackson, he has been referred to a facial nerve specialist in Boston.  This means that his mother Ashley will need to take additional time off work to drive Jackson to his appointments, a 250-mile journey one way.  Unfortunately, due to the accident Ashley has exhausted her resources and paid leave at work.  The owners of the dog that attacked Jackson does not have home insurance or the resources to help out.  We are asking that you please consider donating whatever you can – every little bit helps and will go towards travel expenses and medical bills; we are grateful for any and all donations, even for sharing this post!
