I'm sharing this with mostly people that I know. As some of you may know, I've been battling some health issues. As I go through a hard time and can't afford the hospital bills that keep coming in from all the tests.
I've been adding up many hospital bills that I can't seem to keep up with. With many MRI's, testings, specialists, we do have some diagnoses and will require medical treatment.
I'm not trying to ask for sympathy but I feel it's important to be transparent if I'm asking for help so what I've been diagnosed with is hypogonadism, and extrememe bradycardia with some heart complications.
Here is what I'm currently up against:
1.)
According the the may clinic and my personal experience now,
"In adult males, hypogonadism may alter certain masculine physical characteristics and impair normal reproductive function. Signs and symptoms may include:
Erectile dysfunction
Infertility
Decrease in beard and body hair growth
Decrease in muscle mass
Development of breast tissue (gynecomastia)
Loss of bone mass (osteoporosis)
Hypogonadism can also cause mental and emotional changes. As testosterone decreases, some men may experience symptoms similar to those of menopause in women. These may include:
Fatigue
Decreased sex drive
Difficulty concentrating
Hot flashes"
I'm currently seeing an endocrinologist for this and working on a medical plan.
2.) I also have extreme bradycardia, my heart is beating too low essentially. The echocardiogram detected 25 beats per minute, I have fluid around the heart, and one of the ventrical has back flow of blood back into the heart. The heart should only be pumping blood one way. So I will have to see a cardiologist as well now moving forward.
3.) I have sever tingling in my legs, feet, and lower back and will be getting an MRI on my back to take care of this.
It's hard to ask for help, but I kindly ask that you share this with some folks or if you find it in your heart to help out in any way, I would much appreciate it and once healthy, I plan to give back anyway I can. I plan to contribute everything I have to help pay as well but falling on hard times as I'm on the job hunt as I lost my job at True Runner on top of it, anything would help relieve the added stresses.
For all that you who know me, being put down like this is very difficult as I put much time, hard work, and sacrifice in chasing my running dreams and it may be time to take a different route. I appreciate any help you offer moving forward with this and will update you all soon.
