Collin's Endurance

As some of you know my brother in law Collin was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma this past April. Needless to say Kari and Collin were shocked to hear the word "cancer." After a biopsy and 2 major surgeries to remove his lymph nodes and the cancer, the final scans at that point had not shown a spread to the rest of his body. God stopped the cancer in it's tracks!
Collin just had a PET scan this last week and the cancer is back under his right arm and in his right rib area. . Stage 4 Melanoma now. It has been very heartbreaking to us all. So now he is starting a targeted therapy for the next six months in hopes that it will stop the spread of cancer and shrink the tumor lesions already present. Then, if (when) it works, he'll begin immunotherapy again. Kari and Collin are hanging onto hope and taking it one day at a time.
However the costs are unfortunately not small. With 3 young kids Noah 7 years old, Andrew 5 and Luke 3, and his loving wife Kari that is at home raising them, he has a lot of burden as the sole provider. They have been grateful for the blessings so far in their amazing doctors and nurses, and their friends and family who have prayed, brought meals and shared in their heartaches and rejoiced with the good news as well!! They know God has carried them through this and will continue to each day.

This money will go specifically to their medical bills. Collin is the joy and strength for his family and touches many lives in his nursing career as well. With all our hearts, we truly thank you for your support and generosity!! God is always there, always good, always cares.
