College education for a masai-girl

Since 2015 I am running a foundation that supports education in Tanzania. I am directly supporting a masai-girl named Victoria so that she can get a future by going to college, where she is now studying to become a nurse. I met her as a coincidence when I was volunteering in Tanzania. She came from a village that is located 3 km from the closest watersource and over 15 km to the next village where they can buy food. Her family walk everywhere and do not have enough money to buy their daily food.  She told me her life-story that also involved both rape and abuse and she said that her biggest dream is to go to college and study to become a nurse. In Tanzania, the best and only way to have a good life is through education. I decieded to help Victoria and when I got back to Sweden I started crowdfunding from my friends and family.  A good college eduaction is very expensive in Tanzania and costs around 1500 $ each school year. The foundation has grown and we have until today collected enough money for Victoria to study her second year (out of third)  and Victoria is doing really well in school. To get a diploma in nursing she needs to study a third year and for that we will need at least 15 000 kr (1500$).  The foundation also montly supports (40$) the care of her two sons that are living with another family while she is studying.

So before august 2018, we need at least 1500 $ to be able to pay the school fees for Victorias third year at college. 

Without our help, Victoria would not be able to even think of a future.  When I met her, she was superskinny, hade bruises everywhere and she could not return home to her abusive stepmother. Today, it is a completely other girl I see. She is shining with a big smile on her face and when she is writing to me, she always says "Thank you sister for saving the life of me and my sons, I love you". 

Everyone deserves a fair chance in life and this is an easy way to help directly and change the life for someone else into something much better.

I have weekly contact with my friends in Tanzania that help me with the money transfers to the school, and I also have contact with Victoria herself.  She is so happy now.
