Colleen's Journey

On Monday August 20th, Colleen had extreme headaches and went to the hospital. After a string of tests, an MRI revealed an abnormality in Colleen’s right frontal lobe. At that point they were told Colleen likely had some sort of infection causing swelling in her brain. Colleen was then rushed by Ambulance to Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston. After some additional tests, the doctors explained to us that it was actually likely a brain tumor in the scan. Colleen is scheduled for surgery on September 17th.  There is still so much unknown, but the findings from the surgery will reveal more about the makeup of the tumor. For more details on Colleen's journey, please visit her caring bridge page  .

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for Colleen and her family.
