Colleen Hagen & Max Clar - Team Mean Streak Racing

Donation protected
On Sunday, August 7, in Michigan City, Indiana, Colleen Hagen and her son Max Clar were involved in a boat racing accident. Max was fortunate enough to walk away shaken up, bruised and sore but otherwise unscathed. Meanwhile, Colleen sustained severe injuries, including several broken bones, lacerations and a collapsed lung. She has undergone two surgeries thus far, which were successful. Colleen is recovering at University Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she will remain until it is safe for her to be transported home to New York. Colleen's brother, Vance Hagen, reports that she is doing so much better than Monday and her spirits are high. Vance said Colleen is "tough as nails" and she and Max plan to make a return to offshore racing in the future. Colleen's road to recovery will be long, and expenses will inevitably add up while she heals. Please help us support Colleen and the entire Hagen family by chipping into our virtual pickle jar. Funds for medical expenses, lost wages, meals, and travel costs for family to visit Colleen all make a big difference.

Please keep Colleen and her family in your thoughts and prayers, and share this far and wide.

Thank you,
