Colin's Brain Tumor Surgery Fund

The Raskey's are the kindest, most genuine, and wholeheartedly generous families you will ever meet. They received the most tragic news a young family could ever receive on March 14th, 2017, when their 6 year old son Colin Raskey was tragically diagnosed with a large brain tumor on his cerebellum after a having a CT scan of his head. For the last month, Colin hasn't been feeling well and through medical imaging his Doctor's have finally found the reason for his symptoms. The tumor(which is said to be the size of a female adult's fist) was not visible, and the larger it became the more it compressed surrounding tissues, causing Colin to become more symptomatic. Because of the size and complexity of the tumor, it is suspicious for malignancy and his Doctors at Phoenix Childrens Hospital will be performing a 12+ hour surgery on March 16th to remove the Tumor. Pathologists will then determine what type of tumor it is to better understand the course of his future treatments. At a minimum, Colin will remain hospitalized for weeks requiring extensive care and ongoing treatments until he has recovered.
I, on behalf of the Raskey family, would first and foremost like to ask for prayers for Colin, his parents Brett and Alicia, his brother Tyler, and the rest of the Raskey and Toppo family. We are all praying in Jesus name for a smooth surgery and fast recovery, Lord willing with no deficits or long-term impairments. Colin's surgery will begin at 7:00am on March 16th (tomorrow), and we are asking for unending prayers during this 12+ hour surgery, for the Lord to be present and guide the hands of the Surgeons and medical staff during this operation.
Secondly, my goal is to help the Raskey family financially to ease this burden as much as possible for them. In addition to Colin's medical expenses(which will be staggaring), this process will require significant time off of work for both Brett and Alicia; while still having all of their other living expenses piling up. I want to reduce the financial impact this will have on them as a family, so that Brett and Alicia can be present and available with Colin during his recovery. The last thing in the world this young family should have to worry about, is making ends meet while their son is going through this. I am asking you all to please donate to this fund. Every bit helps, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Raskey family.
