Cole Salvatore - Medical Bills

Thursday June 29th Cole was attacked by a Pit Bull. The dog was unprovoked and thankfully Cole had the presence of mind and strength to repel the dog. Growing up around LOTS of dogs he is no stranger to dogs and is comfortable around them.  The dog jumped a fence and attacked Cole's face and neck. Thankfully he fought the dog off and fled with help.  Quick action got him temporarily bandaged and to the hospital.  This could have been much worse and we are thankful he is alive and healing.  A few pictures were snapped shortly after the incident, they are graphic but click here to see.

Please consider helping Cole with unexpected medical expenses in the short term.  The family is pursuing long term solutions with the authorities and via proper channels however these things take time to resolve.  Cole does not have medical insurance and has already amassed considerable bills.  
The family is asking for prayer and is grateful for all the kind words, food and well wishes.  If you could make a contribution to help that would be cool and much appreciated.  In addition to the inital ER visit there is the issue of Rabies shots.  We are hoping to avoid this but the dogs owner appears to be hiding the dog making it impossible to verify it is vacinated and Rabies free.  The shots are painful and expensive.  Additionally Cole has seen a plastic surgon twice now and is following up as ordered.  

All funds raised will be forwarded to Cole's Mom Laura to help with medical and other expenses related to the attack.
