In Memory of Phill Carter
We have had many people ask us if we have set up a Gofundme account. It warms my heart to know that so many of you care and want to help. All money raised will be going to help pay for Phil's final expenses. Anything beyond that will go into an account for his beautiful little girl, Izzy.
For those of you that do not know, Phil was killed in a car accident in Dedham, Maine, yesterday, when an 85 year old man crossed 2 lanes of traffic and struck him head on.We do not know if the man had some kind of medical emergency. But whatever the reason, we ask that you pray for that man and his family because they also lost a loved one yesterday. Phil and his friend/passenger, Roxanne, both lost their lives.
Phil touched the lives of so many people whether it be the people he went to school with (class of 2000), people who saw him sitting outside Paddy Murphy's with a book and a stool while working as a bouncer, or in many other wonderful things that he did.
He was an amazing, lovng father above all else. His beautiful little girl is left behind, still a little unsure of what this all means.
On behalf of his family, I thank you for your prayers, your kind words, and for all of the wonderful messages of love as his mother, father, and siblings,and extended family go through the unimaginable, unexplainable, tradegy of losing this great man who some call the Gentle Giant (for those of you that knew him, you know how fitting that name is.)
