Cody the Service Dog Medical Bills

This go fund me page is being created to help raise money for Cody, Dan's Service Canine's future medical bills as he recovers from a life threatening case of sepsis in his left elbow. As many of you know Cody was brought to Angell memorial hospital in the beginning of the week unable to walk, his whole left paw swollen 3x it's normal size with skipped heartbeats, extremely low blood Pressure, and a fever of almost 107ﾟ. The vets prepared Daniel Driscoll for the possibility of Cody not making it, but Cody did make it with the care and help of the Angell memorial team, as well as the initial quick action of the medical team at Seaport Vets in Gloucester. After almost 4 days of 24 hour monitoring IV antibiotics and pain medication as well as a biopsy to determine the cause of the sepsis the doctors at Angell memorial sent Cody home for 5 days, in the hopes that being in his own environment would help Cody beat this life threatening infection. He needs to return back there to see how he faring with the infection and if surgery will be needed going forward. As many of you in Cape and know his owner Daniel has been awaiting the disability hearing for almost 3 years and still has not received a decision, and has been struggling financially for 3 years, with his own surgeries, with 2 more to go.
