Help Cody with medical bills

Hey guys. If you know me, you know how much it bums me out to be writing this. It’s pretty embarrassing to ask for help. But here we are so here’s my story. On March 24th I was riding my bike to my job on Bridge Street in Chillicothe Ohio. Unfortunately the driver of a black mustang struck me in the middle of an intersection. The driver then took off, leaving me with serious back, leg, and a small head injury. The worst part of this story is police declined to file a proper report, leaving me without access to surrounding security or traffic cameras. Being left without a way of identifying the driver, I was left to figure these bills out on my own. The back injury was the most significant. I deal with extreme pain every day. I was stuck on a cane for awhile which I’ve luckily been able to ween myself off of, but still fall frequently I lost my business when this happened and have struggled to really work since then. The most unfortunate side to this injury is the affect it had on my relationship with my daughter. Its very tough having a kid you can’t play with or do certain things for. There is so much more to this story and I will answer any questions you have. I am set to have back surgery on January 13th. The recovery is looking at 3-6 months. I have managed to get the surgery itself covered. However my bills and physical therapy while I’m unable to work are another thing. I have set the number to $15,000 in case the recovery takes the full 6 months. I know times are hard for each and every one of us so if you cannot help, I still appreciate you and would love it if you at least share my story. I hope to one day pay you each back, but in the meantime I welcome you all to laugh at my practice of walking when the time comes. Thank you all.
