Cody Robling Medical Expenses

In November 2020 Cody was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a rare neuromuscular autoimmune disease. This illness affects his muscle strength, his ability to chew and swallow, and also his speech at times. Once diagnosed, a CT scan showed many tumors in Cody’s chest.

On November 30 he underwent his first surgery, during which they opened his sternum to remove the tumor, thymus gland, part of his lung, and part of the sac around his heart after discovering the tumor had become invasive. Surgery #2 took place just a week later to remove more tumors. Then, the week after his second surgery Cody was diagnosed with pneumonia and hospitalized. During this hospitalization he also fought Covid and a flare up of his Myasthenia Gravis symptoms, and continues to recover. 

Once he’s on his feet again, Cody will begin radiation and low dose chemo to ensure his tumors are taken care of.

Cody is a believer, an avid traditional bow hunter, a Power Lineman, and the sole provider for his family of five. I was asked by some wonderful friends of Cody to start this GoFundMe to help with his insurance deductibles and continuing care.
