Cody Amato, and his parents were taken from us suddenly and tragically on Friday January 25th.
This campaign was created by Cody's close friends, work family, and all of us who loved Cody here at Orlando Health, to assist Cody's loved ones in covering funeral expenses and memorial costs.
The campaign goal is $15,000, which is the current cost of the arrangements made at Banfield Funeral Home in Winter Springs, FL. All money collected will be paid directly to Banfield. Any additional money collected will be donated to a charity, chosen by Cody's loved ones, in Cody's name.
Cody we love and miss you very much. You were such a wonderful friend to so many of us, such a gifted anesthesia provider, and we are all honored to have shared the time with you that we did.

Go Fund Me requested that I add the following information to this campaign:
- My name is Michael Lombardo, Nurse Anesthetist at Orlando Health, close friend and Coworker of Cody Amato.
- I have been in contact with Jason Amato, Cody’s Brother, and Donna Amato Cody’s aunt, who are making funeral arrangements, and with their blessing I created this campaign for all of those who loved Cody to assist. I have also spoken to Banfield Funeral Home to confirm costs.
- Once campaign goal is met funds will be withdrawn and paid directly from myself to Banfield Funeral Home by Tuesday 2/5. Confirmation of payment can be provided if needed.
If funds are raised above the 15k goal, they will be donated to a charity chosen by Jason and Donna Amato. This charity has yet to be determined. I will make payment to charity personally and provide documentation as required.
