Coco Lakes Potter Family Needs your help

My family originally lived a few houses down from Dan and Justine and remember well when they welcomed Samantha "Sammy" to their family. We stayed in the neighborhood and ended up across the lake from the Potters. Due to an unimaginable circumstance, I have been asked to create a gofundme page for the Potter family.

As most of you probably already know, in the late hours of Saturday, Nov. 13th, Dan, doing what he loved most, went out fishing on Coco Lake behind his home. Dan was missing for several days and a large effort was made to find him from the Coconut Creek police, Broward Sheriff Office and many of Dan and Justine's neighbors. Sadly, Dan was found the morning of November 18th. His life ended unexpectedly and the cause is still unknown.

Dan was a dedicated, loving father, husband and friend. He was hardworking and devoted to his family. In the words of his 14 year old daughter, "my dad was the best dad in the world to me. We would go fishing, run around the park, ride our bikes together and overall laugh and have so much fun". With all the emotion, pain and stress that Dan's death brings, it unfortunately also brings a very large financial burden. Dan was the main source of income for the family and on behalf of Justine and Sammy we are hoping to raise money to cover their upcoming financial expenses as well as to help lift additional financial burdens wherever they may arise.

I know Justine and Sammy will be grateful for any support our community can provide and they have asked that everyone please keep their family in their thoughts and prayers.
