Cobbles & Rhyme Productions (a new theatre company) are making their debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer, and they need your help to make it all happen!
About the Shows
Four chairs. Three weeks. Two bickering writers. One award-winning original musical. [title of show] follows the challenges and triumphs of four nobodies in New York on their hilarious quest for Broadway, acceptance and a spot on Ellen DeGeneres’ couch! An eccentric, witty and self-aware show (about the creation of a show) filled with diva riff offs, talking notepads and a jealous onstage pianist… what could possibly go wrong? Music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen, book by Hunter Bell, an amateur production by arrangement with R&H Europe.
We shall also be presenting a new, free, musical theatre-themed cabaret called [title of songs]. Enjoy a dazzling night of everyone’s favourite musical theatre songs with twists, themes and special guests ensuring every show is unique. Come and experience a Night at the Movies, your go-to lovesick ballads or a carefully crafted set list of all the best guilty-pleasure jukebox anthems, performed by our exceptional selection of vocalists. Featuring music from ABBA to Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Sam Smith to Stephen Sondheim, this show is guaranteed to get the toes tapping, so grab a drink and enjoy the music!
About Cobbles & Rhyme
Founded in 2016 by Bristol University Undergraduates Jack Reitman and Harry Haden-Brown, Cobbles & Rhyme Productions is an exciting, new company that strives to showcase quality musical theatre productions, cabarets and performances, and to develop new writing.
Both founders are proud alumni of the National Youth Music Theatre, have participated in countless University productions, and have had numerous professional engagements in Bristol and London, all to resounding critical acclaim.

Heading to the Fringe isn't cheap and we need your help to make our dream a reality. The money will be going directly towards the show, covering props, costumes, rights and technical equipment.
