Richmond Heights Middle School
To honor and pay tribute to Coach John Davis, former wrestling coach for the Richmond Height Raiders and Miami Killian Cougars, a fund raiser has begun to help the Richmond Heights Middle School wrestling team.
Proceeds go for purchasing new wrestling equipment (wrestling singlets, head gear and wrestling mat).
We will also be purchasing a dedication plaque to be displayed at Richmond Heights Middle School in honor of Coach Davis.
We are also planning a new wrestling event titled " The John Davis wrestling invitational." This will be held annually at Richmond Heights Middle School with the inaugural to be held this wrestling year. We welcome all to attend including former Richmond Heights & Killian wrestlers. We will keep you posted on dates and times of this event.
I and Aaron Washington (aka "Big John), current Richmond Heights wrestling coach, captain of the 1980 Miami Killian Cougars, State Wrestling Champion (1980) and wrestler under Coach Davis at both Richmond Heights and Killian are working together towards making this dream become a reality.
