Coach Mo's 40TH SEASON CELEBRATION!

There's a saying, "honor people (give them their flowers) while they're alive", instead of waiting until they pass away to express how much they mean/meant to you, and we have an opportunity to do just that! We have the opportunity to honor a man who gave us a chance to continue to play a sport that we love(ed), be in an environment that kept us off the streets and out of trouble, continue our education at a 4-year college or university, and even play at the professional levels. For 40+ years, Coach Mazzotta took chances on guys that many others wouldn't. He helped groom many wild teenage boys and young adults into the men we are today. We live the lives we live today as professionals, business owners/business men, husband's, father's, and even coaches, in part to his impartation, leadership, trust, understanding, support, coaching/staff, knowledge, mentorship, love, competitiveness, passion, vision, integrity, approachability, love of the game, and most of all the opportunity to play football at Cerritos College. Over 500 of us earned scholarships to 4-year Universities under Coach Mo, thousands of us have won a championship under Coach as a player and/or coach, dozens of us have played professionally, and dozens have also been fortunate enough to be an assistant coach alongside our legendary leader. 40 years of doing any "one" job is commendable to anyone, but 40 years of being committed to investing his life to coaching and developing young men from all walks of life, many who are doing well as a result, deserves great honor, and this is our opportunity to do so.
My desire is to bless Coach more than he could ever expect! As a token of appreciation, the goal is that each player give $100 per year ($200 total) that he played for coach. I understand that not everyone may be financially able to do it all at once, and many may want to do more. Ultimately, give according to how Coach Mazzotta has impacted your life.
