Coach Mike’s Lung Transplant

Our dad (also known as Coach Mike), was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis.  Since then his health has quickly declined and has required around the clock care.  He is also dependent on oxygen 24 hours a day.  He is currently going through testing at Houston Methodist to have a lung transplant. We believe he was misdiagnosed 3 years ago with pneumonia. He battled a cough and shortness of breath for over 3 years causing him to develop this disease. 

He is a proud dad of 3 kids, 8 grand-kids, and has a great grand daughter on the way.  He has dedicated the majority of his life to helping girls become elite softball players.  He has worked with girls starting at 6 years old up to college age. Every pitcher that has gone through his entire program has committed to a college. This account has been set up to help our dad with expenses during this difficult  time.  Any contributions are greatly appreciated!  

We will keep everyone up to date with information on his health as it is given to us.  Please keep him and our family in your prayers.
