Coach Ek could use our help!

To those of you who know Dan Ekfelt:  (whether it’s as a friend, as an athlete influenced by his coaching in Football or Baseball (The Bones), as a teacher, or through his art), he could use our help. 

On June 21st 2017,  Dan was in an automobile accident, hit by a stolen car on 72nd and Bedford.  He went to the hospital where he had surgery on 2 severely fractured vertebrae.   To stabilize his neck, they inserted a metal plate secured by screws.  He also had 2 or 3 fractured ribs along with problems in the vertebrae in his back.  His car was totaled, he is out of work for a minimum of 8 weeks.  Because the car was stolen, insurance coverage is doubtful, and Dan does not have health insurance. 

We are sending this out to everyone we know, hoping you will pass this to everyone you know who has been influenced by Dan in hopes you can help out with a donation.  If you cannot donate money, below is a list of things Dan could also use help with:

Walking his dog Bones
Meals
Rides

If you know Dan, he is a tough fighter and a proud man.  He needs your help.
