Making Fitness make Sense

Hi Folks!

I'm Coach Calum Shaw, and I'm a personal trainer and nutrition coach in Toronto. The basic summary of what I'm creating is this; the Canadian Personal Training Academy is a fitness company with a simple mission: we want to provide the best information possible in a way that is easy to use and apply regardless of where you are in your fitness journey.

Any donations between $5-$50 will receive a 3 month exercise program ($300 value). Donations between $51-$100 will receive a 6 month exercise program ($550 value). Donations  donations over $101 will receive  receive 6 months of exercise programming and 30 days of online nutrition coaching ($650 value).

Many of you probably know by now that what I love to do more than anything in the world is help people be fit, and more importantly, happy.

It seems that now more than ever we've got more information than we know what to do with. The internet has made it possible to get an answer to every questions you've ever thought to ask. This is a blessing and a curse. It has left many of you feeling like you don't know enough to be able to eat well, or exercise. It allows us to forever focus on how much we don't know without acting on the basic principles that we do know.

At the Canadian Personal Training Academy we help people to make sense of this crazy world of ours. We don't talk about counting macros, or superfoods, or fasted cardio, or any of the other gimmicky nonsense that the world of anecdotal internet fitness sensations pedal. We talk about what works, and how to make it work for your life long term.

I need some help. The funding from this campaign will be used to pay for the website development, which will help me to provide this awesome platform that will be full of free resources for everything related to fitness and health. Help give me the boost I need to be able to bring simple, sound, honest advice to people like you who just want to look in the mirror and love what's looking back at them. 

Once up and operational the website is going to contain tons of free information for you guys to use to make the most of your time spent in the gym! This will be your one stop shop for everything fitness and health. There will be information on rehabbing injuries, getting rid of nagging ailments, how to eat for whatever you're trying to do, and getting  yourself motivated and teaching you to stay motivated to make some positive changes. I want the site to be as open and interactive as possible, and through it you'll be able to ask me questions about fitness and health and I will provide you with answers (if I don't have the answer, I will find it, make it easy to understand and then pass it on to you).

Your support means the world to me. I want to be able to look back at this decision to ask for help and say that all of you folks who donated helped to create a world full of healthy, happy, less anxious, less depressed, less stressed out people. I want to help more people celebrate the awesome things that their bodies can do, and I want to help more people realize that there is so much more to them than what they look like.

There is so much more to us than personal training, because there is so much more to you than being out of shape. 

I want to change the way the world thinks about health and fitness, and I need your help to do it.
