A disabled friend in dire need

My dear high school friend is in dire need of help. She is disabled with MS and confined to wheelchair. She and her husband, a disabled vet have recently lost their home and all of their belongings, they are homeless. They are in need of funds to help them start over and pay thier medical bills. They are working with the VA and have been approved for the VASH VET program for homeless vets, but have not had any luck finding a handicapped accessible apt yet. They also lost all of their belongings because they coouldn't pay for the storage so they will not have any household goods when they do find a home. They are out of money and cannot pay for the motel room they are in and will soon have to go to a homeless shelter if they don't get help soon. I know that she will be upset that I posted this but there is no shame in needing help. Please help in any way you can so that she and her husband don't end up in a shelter.
