Joey's illness has baffled the Doctors, nurses and scientists. In less than four months Joey has gone from an active, healthy 20 year old to bed ridden and can only be moved by wheelchair. He has not driven his car in months and has not been anywhere except for home and hospitals.
He has endured countless blood tests, a highly invasive and painful muscle biopsy, CT scan of the abdomen, MRI of the body, MRI of the brain, a spinal tap and we are still looking for a diagnosis.
The hospital bills are approcahing 25,000.00 and this does not include his current hospitalization. The therapy the Doctors have started is 15,000-25,000 per treatment. He is on day 4 of treatments.
Joey will be tranported to University Of Miami Hospital in the next few days. Praying for anwsers there.
The medical bills are overwhelming and we dont know how to begin to pay them.
We are asking for help from anyone who is able. If you are not able to donate please say a prayer for healing for Joey.
