Flying Dani to Gma's Funeral

Family: we're trying to get Danielle here from Korea for the funeral Saturday. The ticket is pretty expensive and will not be paid by the Merchant Marines. The American Red Cross will not cover it either, since they say Merchant Marines is not considered Military.
I've also reached out to Travelers Aide, who only helps "stranded people," inquired about Delta Airlines' "Bereavement Fare," which is more expensive than their regular lowest fare, and other emergency traveling organizations. Everyone is saying no, either because she is not the sick patient, she is outside of the US, or that she is not considered Military.

So my sister basically falls into a loophole for transportation.

The thing, though, is that we've lived with our grandma for a cumulative total of ten years or more, and are extremely close to her. She's our second mom, and the Matriarch of our family. Her passing was very unexpected. It would be awesome if Danielle could be present to say her last goodbye.
