This "Go Fund Me" is for Jonell and Ja'nae Cook, and their family. They recently lost their Mother to Breast Cancer. She was a single mother of TWO, a mentor to many, friends to even more, and a true living inspiration.
Miss Kimberly Cook was diagnosed with Breast Cancer May 2013. She underwent multiple surgeries, therapy, and prayer for many months. With the grace of God, things were succcessful. Jonell & Ja'Nae Cook (kids of Kimberly Cook) recieved great news that their mom was cancer free January 2014
Things went good for Four months.
In April 2014 during a routine check up Kimberly was rediagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. With no time to waste, she began chemotherapy right away.
By August 2014 the cancer spread rapidly to her lungs. She was admitted into Shands Hospital (Jacksonville Fl.). Unable to breathe on her own because of excess fluid in her lungs, doctors placed Miss Cook on a ventilator machine while being heavily sedated. Furthermore, after tests they found that the cancer also spread to her brain. There was nothing doctors could do for her leaving Jonell, Ja'Nae and their family no options.
Miss Cook lost her fight to Breast Cancer August 7th 2014
She left behind loving friends and family, including her 2 kids Jonell & Ja'Nae. Between all these dates there's been sleepless nights of family traveling back and forth between Orlando and Gainesville to Jacksonville, in and out of the hospital, and an emotional roller coaster for her kids and family.
Kimberly was a single mom raising two great kids who could still use your HELP. This fund will assist with funeral arrangements, medical expenses, and anything miscellaneous.
