Clydehurst Fireworks for 75th Anniversary

July 4th is closer than you think...
For the past 10+ years my family and I have been coordinating the donations for and purchasing of the fireworks for Clydehurst Christian Ranch's 4th of July show. Every year the show gets bigger and more people from the community attend to enjoy the show and allows the camp another form of outreach during the summer season.
This year is different.
- This will be the first year without Grandma Sharon, a significant donor to camp and fireworks. Sharon loved camp as a camper, on staff as the head cook for 14 consecutive years, and as a prayer warrior and financial donor.
- This year everybody is feeling the impacts of covid-19.
- This year July 4th falls on a Saturday.
It is for these reasons that we are reaching out to the Clydehurst Community of alumi, past and present campers, and anybody else who loves Clydehurst as much as we do, to help spread the cost for this year's fireworks.
As July 4th is on a Saturday, most in attendance will be current and former staff and many from the community, so we want this year's show to at least be on par with last year's.
Not only is this a fun way to celebrate our independence and reach out and engage with our community, but it can also be a beacon of hope and solidarity for everybody given the stress of the last few months.
Every little bit helps. Give what you can. $10 and $20 goes a long way when 20, 50, 100 people come together.
This fundraiser will end JUNE 22, so we have time to coordinate with our fireworks guy.
