Clyde Sander's Memorial

Donation protected
My family has lost someone very special and dear to our hearts due to Covid, my loving grandfather.

Clyde Sanders was 91 years full of life. He served his community in the church as a long-time Deacon of Oldfield Baptist and in the mechanic business helping folks tune up their cars for over 50 years.  I remember ever since I was little, I would wake up with my Pawpaw at 5am and go to work with him and be his little helper at the shop.

Fast forward to recent years, mom took on the role of his caregiver and gave exceptional care for him. He was active and loved to socialize. He was always ready to jump in the car and take a trip to Birmingham or Atlanta...unless it was football Saturday, of course! He loved his family, cars, his pups, football, Atlanta Braves, sweet tea, but most of all his Lord and Savior. He had a heart of gold and would give his last shirt off his back to anyone that he thought needed it more than him.

We are so appreciative of everyone reaching out with love & prayers during this hard time. A lot of friends & family are asking, "what can we do for you? " and saying, "the family wants to help." It's a vulnerable time for my family and we've been in such a fog to be able to answer these questions on the spot. With my mom being out of work due to Covid and after planning pawpaw's memorial, it is clear that these unexpected expenses have added another level of stress for the family. Please consider donating as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.

Thank you so much for your consideration,
