I am also a freelance Copywriter working for agencies and production companies here.

I have loved Films, Theatre and Filmmaking since I was hired as a child labourer by my Da, transporting VHS movie tapes as a 7 year old from my Uncles house who lived nearby. My earliest memory of Films is watching Sergio Leone movies on my Dad's lap. They’re good memories.

I'm asking you to support my first Fiction Drama short film, as I believe in the spirit of community, supporting the creative process in all walks of life and I'm passionate about helping others in the business.

I've dedicated the last 10 years of my life helping other Filmmakers create their Artistic vision's and now, it feels like the right time to create my own work to a better standard.

The short film "Clipped" is a Labour of Love to all concerned and has taken a couple of different forms over the last couple of years. It's based in and around the dark world of online grooming and the misuse of technology by adults, It captures the abuse of power and the appeal of Urban crime and misogynistic lad culture.

A karmatic series of events. Part revenge thriller, Part Social warning.

It examines the “get rich quick” idea of Urban youth and the notion of entitlement and takes a look at how we've changed as a society over the years. From leaving your door open, to having it kicked in for valuables. .
Or more Importantly, how a dip into someone's  DM’s can change lives forever.

Frances, (Mary Murray, Love Hate, The Magdalene Sisters) is a single Mum to a teenage daughter(Joanne), takes the reins of a barbershop, to bring a semblance of normality after great trauma and personal grief in their recent lives. Although the community at large has embraced and encouraged them, certain elements in the wider community are scheming to disrupt this new dawn and make life difficult. A seemingly chance encounter with a local enigmatic thug (Dafhyd Flynn, MICHAEL INSIDE) leads to a chase fraught with panic as it becomes clear that France’s Daughter was the focus of an online grooming plot for some time. Every parent's worst nightmare.

Clipped is a gripping, tense, well observed character study.

Focusing on the loss of a parent, grief and depression and the knock on effect on a Mother and Daughter relationship.
