Climbing Mountain Kilimanjaro (5,895m)

Those who know me,  know my love for the mountains. The fresh air. The snow. The wind. The silence. The getting-there-is-half-the-fun walk. And those well deserved breath-taking views from the top.... All of it!

This year is a year of round birthdays, and so me (30) and my mama (50) decided to celebrate our youth and the turn of the decades with a joint adventure:

     The ladies are going to climb mountain Kilimanjaro together!

As many of you were asking what I would like for my birthday, I'll be eternally grateful & happy if instead of getting 50 bottles of vodka, I can transform the liquid cash into a different kind of 'high' this year and reach the top of the mountain that has been on my list for a very long time. 
The money raised will be spent well - on the neccessary gear, paying the guides fairly and entrance to the Kili National Park (which costs unbelievable ~850 EUR and hence makes Mt. Kilimanjaro one of the most expensive treks in the world!)
