Clifton Family Home Black Mold Relief&Remediation

The Clifton Family [Bill, Nadine, Kayla (17), Emma (15), and Billy (5)] have been displaced from their home as the result of a serious and extensive infestation of toxic black mold. At the beginning of October, their health began to sharply decline. On October 9th, while Nadine was cleaning the living room, she found a small trace of mold near one of the lower level vents. A mold inspector came out to the house and determined that the crawl space and entire first floor was infested with mold "on a level he hadn't seen in his twenty year career" and needed to be completely gutted. The first floor includes their living room, kitchen, only bathroom, Kayla’s bedroom and Billy’s play area. Unfortunately, their homeowners' insurance is only going to cover a small portion of the repair costs, furniture replacement costs, and displacement expenses. Sadly, that fraction will only get smaller the longer this goes on, and the more mold/damage the remediation company finds during demolition. The family is currently staying in a modest hotel while the repairs take place.

Bill & Nadine are good people, pillars of their community, always giving back to others, from cheer coaching to Girl Scout troop leading and beyond. They've been blessed with wonderful kids who are following in their footsteps. Bill has been my best friend since the 1st grade (so, like, 35 years now), and his family has always opened their home and their hearts to me.
