Clete Thomas-Hurricane Relief Fund

As most of you know, Hurricane Michael hit Panama City on October 10, 2018.  Growing up in Lynn Haven (on the outskirts of Panama City) was a wonderful place to live.  To this day, this place feels like home.  Not just to me, but to anyone who comes through.  

The community is strong, the people are good people, who would give the shirt off of their backs to help others.  The vast majority of people here are blue-collar families, who work hard for a living.  My family specifically, are teachers, and other public servants.

During this catastrophic event, my mom's house was hit hard, leaving them with much water damage, and so many reparations in the roof, windows, etc.  My sister's house had three trees fall through their home.  My aunt, grandmother and uncle's homes all sustained wind and water damage as well.  

Every single person in this area needs our help right now.  I am simply asking for my family if you could spare any extra, to help.  

My heart is broken, and I wish that I could help them.  We want to reach a goal of $30,000.  Not only do they want to repair their own homes, but they want to help their friends, their church, and their neighbors with the money.  

If you can please help, I will continue to update how the money is used, and how their repairs are coming along.  So far, my mother and family have no home to live in.  My sister, her husband, and my niece and nephew have no home to live in.  The list just goes on and on.  

We thank God for their survival, and pray for the reconstruction.

My mother, Kim Gann, will be the primary beneficiary to receive the funds. She will be using the money to help her own damage as well as others she knows who need help. She will be receiving the total amount raised so far to help her immediate needs, and also  writing checks to others in need
