Enjoy making a difference, by providing something we take for granted every day, CLEAN WATER.
We are raising funds to help provide CLEAN WATER to people in India.
We currently have a request list for 29 bore wells which takes about $1500 USD worth of donations for each one.
We hire local well drillers to support the growth of their own economy and usually drill bore wells near a church, for all people of the village. A bore well can provide water for up to five to ten thousand people.
In addition to bore wells we have been developing "spring water projects" in the hill country of the Araku Valley. These spring water projects are unique to themselves, much different than a bore well. Instead of wasting the continuous resource of the natural spring, it is now diverted to prosper the village's economy. These projects are well organized, are on budget, and seen to completion.
Through these clean water projects we and the local church are allowed to minister the "Good News of Jesus Christ" to not only the people in cities, but to the primitive tribal people of the Araku Valley. We now have the opportunity to visit villages that were previously unwelcoming. They now invite us with open arms because of the clean water.
