Classic case of flat head

Friends and family,
At 2 months our pediatrician brought to our attention that Wesley may have plagiocephaly (flat head). We worked with Wes at home doing suggested exercises as well as increased tummy time to correct the flatness naturally. Unfortunately at 4 months it was recommended that we pursue medical corrective action due to the severity of the flatness. Wesley got his first band (helmet) a week before he turned 5 months.
We have been working with an awesome company called Cranial Technologies. They have an amazing staff that has been supportive, informative, and empathetic throughout the whole process. We have to drive to north Tampa each week to get band adjustments and each time we see the staff they are excited to see Wesley and very encouraging of his progress (even if it’s minimal).
Unfortunately at this weeks appointment we were informed that Wesley would need a 2nd band (helmet) to correct his plagiocephaly. There are specific exclusions in our insurance that disqualify any type of cranial corrective measures. Each band is $2,500 and since he is a moderate to severe case he requires 2 bands. We were hoping and believing for the best (still are) but must now make arrangements for this new reality. He has made great progress with the first band but not enough to graduate from it.
Asking for help is a humbling experience for Wayne and I but we are realizing quickly and painfully throughout this journey that we can’t do this alone. We know we have a village behind us and behind Wesley and are seeking the support from our friends and family on two levels:
First, please be praying and believing in the next 4 weeks while he finishes up with his first band that we see dramatic results in the length from the top of his head to the base of his neck as well as the flat spot continuing to fill in.
Secondly would you consider helping us financially as we attempt to pay a total of $5,000 for these bands? We are willing to do whatever it takes for Wesley to fulfill his band treatment but not having to do it alone would relieve the current stress on our finances.
