Clark Family Hurricane Repairs

Donation protected
As many of you know, my dad's job brought my parents from North Dakota to Houston this summer. They bought a house about 2 months ago and have been settling into their new neighborhood in The Woodlands. Their house is 100 feet over the flood line and neither my parents nor the neighbors thought their house would have any kind of flooding, even from Hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately, on the early morning of August 28th my mom woke up to find the water level right at the front door. She was evacuated by boat with the two dogs and after a long day of transportation from schools to churches, was finally reunited with my dad at a hotel where his company was lodging its employees. A few days later they finally were able to see their house, which was flooded about 18 inches. The community and volunteers have been incredible in assisting them with all the manual labor recently. They have removed all the flooring and Sheetrock, along with many of their furniture and personal items that were damaged in the flood. Unfortunately, they did not have flood insurance yet and the repairs will add up quickly. This fund is set up to help them as they make repairs on the house and try to get back to some sense of normalcy after the storm. Anything helps and we are so grateful for your prayers!
