Clare Christmas Lights appeal
The people of Clare & its surrounds, are always very generous in their support of its Christmas Lights,through the draw,the bucket collections and the collecting boxes in shops. Sadly for reasons we are all to familiar with,we are limited to the collecting boxes in shops this year.
2020 has been to say the least a trying year for us all & for many, thoughts of Christmas have been a positive vision to hold onto.Clares Christmas Lights are a constant that we all look forward to each year, & although we cant have our switch on event,the tree and the lights will still be up to add a touch of cheerfulness to our dark evenings.
All community causes have sufferred, as lockdown has prevented the usual fundraising activities and Clare Christmas lights is no different.Although the lights are broadly under the wing of the Town Council who underwrite the cost we still have a responsibility to raise funds independantly.
So,we ask all the lovely people who support Clares Christmas Lights, to give your support in a different way this year, by contributing via our go fund me page.
