Clara Mullen Charity Match - Hog & Apple vs SPARK

Clara Mullen was the bravest girl you could ever meet.

A lovely, happy child who sadly developed a rare muscular neurological disease which left her wheelchair bound, unable to talk and having to have assisted feeding.

After happily and bravely living her life surrounded by the love of her devoted parents and family, she lost her battle in July and died peacefully with her parents by her side.

A truly remarkable little girl with a smile that would light up any room.

She was and will always be an inspiration to us all.

We are hosting a football match in Clara's memory on Sunday 5th December. The game will be hotly contested between members of two different York businesses - The Hog & Apple Food Company and SPARK*. It will be played at York Sports Village and will kick off at 2pm. You are most welcome to attend and support either or both of the teams! 

 

This charity football match is a way for everyone touched by Clara’s life to extend their thanks to some of the amazing charities and organisations who helped support Clara, not least, Martin House Children's Hospice who did so much for her. 

None of us ever know when we may find ourselves in a position where we rely on these charities to help us, so we are raising money to help them continue their amazing work.
